This blog is called “Spiritual Politics” to address the merging of two separate realities that with positive energy and grass root efforts will create a shining new America.
The Year - 2008. The event - the nomination of a (true) African-American to be the presidential nominee for the Democratic party.

So what is all the fuss? We are a civilized society. A society where the ethical and spiritual ramifications of slavery have been discussed ad nauseam but never really addressed. Not be “reparations or apologies” but by honestly assessing the ongoing damage of treating any “people” as if they are less than.
America and her citizens are awakening. We are awakening to the possibilities of what our forefathers visualized, a country proud of all her citizens with ALL of her citizens truly participating to bring about a better way of life. This is the America that the entire world looks up to. THIS America is the one which makes us the most proud.
It is a spiritual awakening calling upon each and every one of us to be our best selves. The belief that all people are responsible for themselves but our country stands ready to assist with grace and tolerance as we move forward together. This is a country at its best. It is the reason safeguards are in place. To help where needed without penalty or judgment.
Will this “new awakening” work for the masses. I sure hope so! As we each accept responsibility for our own thoughts, our own actions, reactions and judgments, one more person is added to the weight of the collective. AND WE WELCOME YOU!
